Porta Gia Ton Ourano (literally brings to the sky) is the first single by Greek singer Helena Paparizou from her fourth studio album Vrisko To Logo Na Zo.

Release and Chart Performance

The single was released on April 8, 2008, at all radio stations in Greece and Cyprus. It reached its first position on the Greek digital chart, as well as on the Greek radio charts in both countries.

Music Video

The music video for "Porta Gia Ton Ourano" was directed by Alexandros Grammatopoulos and filmed on April 8, 2008, the same day of the single's release. The shooting took place in Athens and lasted 48 hours. In the video, Paparizou appears with her new style for the first time.

Composition

The music was composed by Per Lidén, Niclas Olausson, and Toni Mavridis, while the lyrics were written by Eleana Vrahali.

Debut on Radio Stations

The single officially debuted on April 8, 2008, when it was played for the first time on Kosmoradio of Thessaloniki. In Athens, the song aired for the very first time on Sfera Radio.

Music Video Concept and Release

On April 14, 2008, MAD TV revealed the concept of the music video. The new video of Elena Paparizou was described as "fairly ambitious" by MAD TV.
