History of History

Building

In the early 1970s, there were a number of players in Damonton on the first to mark, most of whom were trained in an improvised field in the expansion of the elementary school of the reader. The picture changed Victor Yossi, who graduated at the Haifa Technion in 1977 and moved to the city. Victor, who was an active player in Latvia, his birthplace, wanted to renew his activity and seek partners for the game. The Harel Elementary School was the first field assigned to the small group of players by the municipality’s Sports Department. Thus, on the isolated field in the small hall, the base was set up for a group that consisted of old players and young people who were invited to play by Yossi. Among the players was Ezra Intby, the sons of Perry and David Gorfnickel, who until now plays in his youth group.

In those days, the branch that was still in its infancy began to gain momentum and together with a number of groups (in the creation of Jeff Geffen from the pioneers of the industry in Israel), Lod, Sierra Ono and Persena (in the creation of Dr. Michael Schneiderman) was founded for the first time a national league in which these groups were competing against each other. The league led by a group of outposts and the team in advance to Zion usually won second or third place. In addition to the activities of the League, several competitions were held in Israel for youth and graduates, and many of them had to stop their activities due to military service.

1980s - Maccabi and Beyond Gymnasia
In 1980, after three years of activity in the city, the group was recorded as a department in the First Circuit Association for Zion, which contributed greatly to the development of the group. The group continued its activities, increased the number of its members, and held several national competitions in the Old Mac and even hosted a youth group from Germany.

In 1983, after many efforts, the group received a place in the sports hall of the oldest high school in the city, the "real gensia". The transition to the hall, which included three courts, along with the proximity to the city center and school, led to the opening of a large youth group that included over 15 players. The group also developed as part of the League with a plot of Aliza Moses who was the Israeli champion and played before in the Ashdod Brigade. Another prominent player who played in the team was a Sergio eclipse, who knew many of the great talent in the imaging industry in Israel.

In 1987, the group joined Moses, ראובן and Amir, and later their sister Sily. Another strengthening came to the group in the image of Manda Michaeli of Ashkelon and the powerful team won the state championship for five consecutive years.

The 1990s - Youth rising
In the 1990s, along with the largest wave of immigration from Russia, the club continued to develop and the club's youth group looked new faces that have achieved the greatest achievements in the history of the club. Among the players were Ayra Serreinski, Lior (Burs) Kratter, Burke Mill-Non and Neir Yasssam (the eldest son of Victor). Apart from the new youth players, many foreign actors came to the group, most of which were students and researchers at the Weizmann Institute of Science. One of them is Dr. Martin Ziber from Germany, who played at the club for four years.

In 1992, with the departure of the Moses Brothers (who returned to the Minneapolis Club), the group began to rely on youth players who at the time won the first venues in the youth competitions. At the same time, changes in the club have increased the number of local players, including the number of activists who have helped manage and promote the stagen industry in the first city
