"The road bike"

ROAD RACING IS HELD ON PAVED ROADS, OFTEN ON ROADS THAT HAVE BEEN PAVED FOR DAILY TRAFFIC AND ARE NOT SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR RACING.
THE BEGINNING OF ROAD RACING WAS AT THE END OF THE 19TH CENTURY, WHEN THE BICYCLE MODEL WAS DEVELOPED. ROAD RACING BECAME A POPULAR SPORT IN THE EARLY 20TH CENTURY, WHEN ROADS WERE PAVED FOR THE FIRST CAR USE. THE FIRST RECORDED BICYCLE RACE WAS HELD ON 31 MAY 1868 AT THE SAN CLEMAU PARK IN PARIS FOR 1,200 METERS AWAY. THE WINNER WAS THE ENGLISHMAN JAMES MOORE WHO WON THE FIRST ROAD RACE HELD IN 1869 FROM PARIS TO ERWAN, A DISTANCE OF 133KM.
ROAD RACING ARE THE MOST POPULAR SPORTS IN EUROPE. THE TOUR DE FRANCE CONTEST IS THE THIRD EVENT IN THE WORLD TO ITS POPULARITY AFTER THE OLYMPICS AND THE WORLD CUP. IN SOME EUROPEAN COUNTRIES, SUCH AS FRANCE, BELGIUM, SPAIN, AND ITALY, BICYCLE RIDERS ARE HEROES WHOSE NAMES ARE MARRIED.
THE BICYCLE RACING INDUSTRY HAS BEEN INFECTED, FOR MANY YEARS, IN THE PHENOMENON OF TAKING THE NECESSARY PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS. DESPITE THE ATTEMPTS OF THE ORGANIZING BODIES AND SUPERVISORS ON SPORTS TO PREVENT THE PHENOMENON BY RIGOROUS TESTS, NEW SCANDALS ARE OCCASIONALLY DEPLOYED, IN WHICH THE MOST SENIOR-LEVEL RIDERS ARE ACCUSED OF USING METHODS AND MATERIALS THAT ARE PROHIBITED BY INDUSTRY REGULATIONS.
TYPES OF RACING
THERE ARE TWO BASIC TYPES OF ROAD RACING:
A SINGLE-DAY RACE – A REGULAR BICYCLE RACE WHERE THE WINNER IS THE ONE THAT CROSSES THE FIRST TARGET LINE.
A RACE OF PASSAGES – A RACE IN WHICH A FEW PASSAGES (USUALLY ONE SECTION EVERY DAY) AND THE WINNER IS THAT OUR CUMULATIVE TIME IN ALL SECTIONS IS THE LOWEST. THE CONDITION TO COMPLETE THE RACE IS TO COMPLETE ALL THE SECTIONS THAT MAKE IT.
THERE ARE ALSO THREE TYPES OF BREASTFEEDING:
THE RACE IN WHICH ALL THE RIDERS ARE CLEANED TOGETHER.
A RACE AGAINST A PERSONAL CLOCK IS A RACE IN WHICH EVERY RIDER IS CLEANED SEPARATELY AND OUR TIME IS MEASURED SEPARATELY. THE OTHER NICKNAME FOR THIS RACE IS THE "REAL RACE" BECAUSE IT HAS NO PLACE FOR TACTICS AND PROTECTION FROM THE WIND BY THE GROUP. THE RIDERS ALSO USE BICYCLES AND SPECIAL CLOTHING, TAILORED AERODYNAMICALLY TO COPE WITH THE WIND.
A RACE AGAINST A GROUP CLOCK IS A RACE IN WHICH EACH GROUP IS SUFFOCATED SEPARATELY AND THE TIME FOR THE FRONT RIDERS IN THE FINISH LINE IN EACH GROUP IS DETERMINED BY THE TIME THAT HALF OF THE GROUP RIDERS CROSSED THE FINISH LINE. IN THIS RACE, THE RIDERS SHARE IN AN EFFORT BY THE FIRST RIDER IN THE EMBRACE OF THE MOST EFFORT AGAINST FRICTION WITH THE AIR IN RELATION TO THE ADJACENT RIDERS BEHIND.
THE OLDEST AND MOST IMPORTANT RACES ARE CALLED CLASSICS, INCLUDING THE TOP FIVE MOST IMPORTANT CHANNELS, SOMETIMES REFERRED TO AS THE FIVE MONUMENTS, AND ARE: MILAN-SAN PALERMO (FROM 1907, RHONDA VAN PLANNDEREN (1913), PARIS - RUBA (1896), LIZ'S-BSTONE-LES (1892) AND JEIRO DITIA (1905).
THERE IS ALSO A YEAR (FROM 1927) WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN ROAD RACE. BESIDES THE GREAT HONOR OF WINNING THE RACE, HE ALSO GETS TO WEAR THE RAINBOW SHIRT THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO THE NEXT CHAMPIONSHIP.
THE MOST IMPORTANT PASSAGE RACES ARE THE THREE COLUMNS: THE TOUR DE FRANCE, HELD ANNUALLY IN 1903, THE JUIRO D'ITALY, HELD ANNUALLY IN ITALY SINCE 1909, AND THE WALLATA ASPÉ HELD IN SPAIN, EACH YEAR FROM 1935.
THESE ARE THE MOST INTRIGUING, DRAWN 20 DAYS IN A ROW AND EVEN MORE, AND THE RIDERS ARE ON THE BICYCLE LEVEL 4 TO 7 HOURS A DAY. THE TOUR DE FRANCE IS CONSIDERED THE MOST DIFFICULT SPORT.
IN A LARGE PART OF THE FRAGMENTS OF THE PASSAGES, ONE SECTION WAS HELD (IN THE GRAND COLUMNS TWO SECTIONS) OF A RACE AGAINST THE CLOCK. IN THIS RACE CALLED THE "REAL RACE" ALL THE RIDERS ARE CLEANED SEPARATELY AND MUST RIDE THROUGHOUT THE COURSE ALONE WITHOUT THE HELP OF OTHER RIDERS. THE WINNER IS THE ONE WHO WINS
