The improved Negev known as the Nabid Generation G or “Giv 2000”, including ergonomic and armament improvements alongside mechanisms and reliability improvements. The new Negev began to be recorded in 2009 and its absorption was completed in 2011.

In 2012, the Israel Arms Industries Company developed a stolen machine in Kimber 7.62x51 mm NATO (as the Hague) based on the Negev. This machine is called a NG7 router and a unique feature: semi-autotic selective shoot, which is nearly non-existent in machine guns, as well as non-controlled lyrical safety mechanisms.

Israel’s arms industries have sold bullets to other countries, including Colombia, Costa Rica, Estonia, India and Thailand.
