The story of Afghanistan

Day

The first half of the 100,000 BCE -- almost all of the territory of modern Afghanistan entered the warehouse of Achaemenid states.

Medieval

20th century

The third English-Afghan War (1919), the beginning of Great Britain after the Amarillahan's emission voted independence of Afghanistan (Russia immediately acknowledged it), ended up winning Afghanistan.

Constitutional monarchy

Independent of Afghanistan is declared March 28th of 1919, until July 17th, 1973. The rules of the Nadusha Dynasty.

Republic

On July 17th, 1973, the monarchy was destroyed and a republic regime established. The country was called the Republic of Afghanistan.

From April 30th to 1978, the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan. From November 30th, 1987, the Republic of Afghanistan.

From April 28, 1992 to December 2001, Islamic State of Afghanistan.

On April 27, 1978, after the so-called 'flower revolution' came to power the People-democratic party of Afghanistan (NDA), which turned its ideology of scientific socialism. On April 30, 1978, the country declared the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan. All of the power in the country has come to the hands of the revolutionary council, the 1st of May, formed a government led by M. Tarakki. The stability of the Constitution has been canceled since February 14, 1977.
