Theodosis Nicholas (Paphos 1930-Nicosia 2004) studied literature at the University of Athens and pedagogicals in London. After his studies he worked as an educator in schools in the city and the province of Famagusta until 1974. After the occupation of the city by the Turks, for a short time, he lived with his family in Paralimni and soon afterwards settled in Larnaca. In the 1950s his poems were published in the literary journal Cyprus Letters and in 1958 his collection of short stories was published on the soils. In his three poetry collections (Acts (1980); Pictures (1988); The house (first edition 1993, second edition 2002) "consists of the crown historical taste and metaphysical search in excellent lyrical poems".
