Thomas Paul Malone (born 8 February 1915 in Edmonton); 20 July 2000 in Ottawa was a Canadian ambassador.
Live life
Thomas Paul Malone was the son of Sarah MacMillan and Thomas Peter Malone.
On July 9, 1940, he married Deirdre Lavallette Ingram in Sydney and their children were Anthony, Mark, Christopher, Patricia and David.
In 1936 he was bachelor at the University of Alberta.
From 1936 to 1938 he was employed as a journalist at the Edmonton Journal.
From 1938 to 1940 he worked at the Commonwealth Press Union Exchange as a journalist in England and Australia.
From 1942 to 1946 he was employed by the Wartime Information Board in Australia.
In 1946 he joined the Foreign Service of Canada.

On 29 November 1962 he was appointed Ambassador to Tehran, where he served from 26 January 1963 to 5. May 1965 was accredited.
On 25 February 1965 he was appointed Ambassador to Baghdad, where he served from 19 April 1965 to 5. May 1965 was accredited.
On 5 March 1965 he was appointed Ambassador to Kuwait, where he was accredited on 27 April 1965.

On 19 April 1967 he was appointed High Commissioner (Commonwealth) in Lagos, where he was appointed from 13 August 1967 to 18. August 1970 was commissioned.
On 20 April 1967 he was appointed High Commissioner (Commonwealth) in Freetown, where he was appointed from 13 August 1967 to 18. August 1970 was commissioned.
On April 20, 1967, he was appointed Ambassador to Niamey, where he remained until 18. August 1970 was accredited.
On 20 April 1967 he was appointed Ambassador to Abomey, where he served from 10 April 1968 to 18. August 1970 was accredited.
In 1970 he was appointed to lead the Canadian Land Forces Command and Staff College in Fort Frontenac.
On 23 May 1972 he was appointed High Commissioner (Commonwealth) in Nicosia, where he was appointed until 2 September 1975.
On 23 May 1972 he was appointed Ambassador to Tel Aviv and was accredited in Jerusalem from 15 August 1972 to 2 September 1975.
On August 8, 1975, he was appointed Ambassador to Helsinki, where he was accredited on January 9, 1976.
On December 31, 1970, he was retired.
