Thomas Piermayr

Early Life and Club Career

Thomas Piermayr (born 2 August 1989) is an Austrian football player.

### Youth Career and Early Professional Years

Piermayr went through all the youth teams of LASK and played at the Linz Football Academy. In 2007, he joined the black-and-white squad for the first time. Since the 2008/09 season, he was a fixed part of the Stahlstadter.

### Bundesliga Debut

He made his Bundesliga debut on 9 July 2008 at the match of the 1st round between Kapfenberger SV and LASK, where he was replaced in the 67th minute for Siegfried Rasswalder. Three days later, on 12 July 2008, he scored his first Bundesliga goal in a 3-1 win against SCR Altach after preparatory work by Jürgen Panis.

### International Transfers

In July 2011, Piermayr signed with Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Premier League. However, he only stayed for one season before returning to Austria and signing a contract with SC Magna Wiener Neustadt in the summer of 2012.

After another brief stint at home, he moved to Lillestrøm SK in Norway in July 2013. He played for the club for half a year before switching teams again.

### Career Statistics

Piermayr has played for several clubs throughout his career, including LASK Linz (78 games as a defender), Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Wiener Neustadt, and Lillestrøm SK. He also represented the Austria national under-21 football team.
