**Production**

The Zaporozhye Titanium-Magnesium Combine (DTMZ) is a Ukrainian company located in Zaporozhye, Europe's only producer of spongy titanium. The company was founded in 1935 as the Dnipro Magnesium Plant and was the first industrial producer of magnesium in the USSR.

**History**

The plant was initially destroyed during the Great Patriotic War, but after the war, it was restored under the name Dnieper Titanium and Magnesium Plant. In 1956, DTMZ began commercial production of titanium, becoming the first industrial manufacturer of titanium in the Soviet Union.
