Tomáš Kuchař

Tomáš Kuchař (born 25 August 1976 in Pečky) is a Czech former footballer.

Career

Kuchař began playing football at the academy of Autoškoda Mladá Boleslav, from where he moved to FC Bohemians Prague at the age of 16. He was admitted to the first team in 1994 and over the next three years played for the club 52 matches in the top division and 27 matches in the second division.

In 1997, Kuchař joined SK Slavia Prague, where he became a regular player for many years and participated in 137 first division games, scoring twelve goals. He was a key member of the team during his time at Slavia.

In early 2003, Kuchař moved to Russia and signed with Shinnik Yaroslavl, but he did not stay long and returned to the Czech Republic later that year. He played on loan for FK Teplice before joining Pogoń Szczecin in Poland for the 2004/05 season.

However, his time at Pogoń Szczecin was short-lived, and he was released in the summer of 2005. Kuchař then returned to Bohemians 1905 Prague, where he had previously played as a youth player. He eventually agreed with Pogon Szczeci (note: likely a typo or translation error) in November 2005.
