Early Life and Career
Toni Duggan (born 25 July 1991 in Liverpool, England) is an English footballer.
Club Career
Duggan started playing girl's football on a mixed team called the Jellytotos. At the age of 11, she signed up for Everton to play in the lower categories. She made her debut for Everton's first team at the age of 16 and scored the decisive goal in the extension of the semi-final of the FA Women's Premier League Cup of the 2007/2008 season, helping Everton enter the final and win the cup for the first time.
In 2010, she won the FA Women’s Cup with Everton by defeating Arsenal 3-2 in the final. In the UEFA Women’s Champions League 2009/10, Duggan's team reached the quarterfinals but lost to Røa IL. The following season, they again reached the quarterfinals.
International Career
Duggan has been an international player for England since 2012. She was a member of the English team that won the bronze medal at the 2015 World Cup and played in the 2019 World Cup as well. Duggan also represented England at the 2013, 2017 Euro Cups.
