Transportation in Ankara can be divided into two categories including urban transportation and interurban transportation. Domestic transportation can be realized by public transportation vehicles such as metro, light rail system, bus, teleferic and suburb; intercity transportation is used from airports, train stations, railways and highways. The fee is charged in public transportation with AnkaraCard.

Ankara metro

: Kizilay ↔ Westernkent is a metro that serves on a line of about 14,5 kilometers. In the Westernkent station, M3 line can be transferred to the T1 line at the Yenimahalle station, the M4 line at the Atatürk Culture Center station, to the Capitalray at the Sanitary station, M2, M4 lines and Ankaray if at the Kizilay station.

: Kizilay ↔ is a metro that serves on a line of about 16,5 kilometers. Transfers to M1, M4 lines and Ankaray in Kızılay station.

: Batıkent ↔ OSB-Törekent is a metro that serves about 15,5 kilometers. Transfer to M1 line in Westernkent station.

: Kizilay ↔ Martyrs is a metro that serves on a line of about 12,5 kilometers. M1, M2 lines and Ankaray in Kızılay station; It can be transferred to Ankaray and Capitalray at the Gar station; Atatürk Cultural Center station to M1 line.

; Azim ↔ Dikimevi is a light rail system serving on a line of about 9,5 kilometers. The M1, M2 and M4 lines at the Kizilay station can be transferred to the M4 line at the Maltepe station and the Capitalray to the Capitalray at the Liberation station.

Capitalray is a suburban train system that serves about 37.5 kilometers in Xinjiang ↔ Kayaş road. It can be transferred to Ankaray, Yenişehir station to M1 line, Ankara Gari station, Ankaray and M4 line.

Ankara-Polatlı Regional Train

Ankara-Polatlı Regional Train; Ankara Gari ↔ Polatlı Railway Station is a regional train serving on a line of about 90 kilometers. It can be transferred to the Capitalray, Ankaray and M4 line in Ankara Gari station; in Xinjiang station to the Capitalray.

Ankara telefer

T1: Yenimahalle ↔ Şentepe is the teleferic line that serves on a line of about 3 kilometers. Transfer to M1 line at the Yenimahalle station. Keçiören telefer is about 1.5 kilometers long and works independently from other lines.

Road transportation

A large part of the bus in the city is carried out by EGO General Directorate buses, an organization connected to the Metropolitan Municipality of Ankara. With about 323 lines, 46 flights are held every place of Ankara.
