Trita was an ancient village in Cyprus.
It belonged to the kingdom of Curius and was located on the ancient road from Kourio to Paphos and between the Comets Matter and Bosura. It is possible that it was a colony of Argos, since the name Trita replied during antiquity and Argos to a term of the same name that was between Mycenae and Nemea, there was also the "Leon of Nemea".
