Sergey Trigubenko graduated from the Slavic State Pedagogical Institute in 1994 with a degree in Labor and Career Guidance. He has a specialization of a labor teacher, a methodologist for career guidance. In 1995 he graduated from the International Institute of Management, Business and Law with a degree in Accounting and Auditing. In 2001 he graduated from the National Law Academy named after Yaroslav the Wise in the specialty “Jurisprudence”.

From 1993 to 1995 he worked at a secondary school in Kegichevsky district of Kharkiv region, then was a legal consultant in the agro-firm Lozovskaya. From 1997 to 2005 he served in the tax police of the Kharkiv region. In 2005 he became Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Administration in Kharkiv region.
