Biography
Trine Jepsen made his debut in the music scene with his participation in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, the Danish representative's research selection program at the 1999 Eurovision Song Contest, where he sang Denne gang with Michael Teschl. The couple obtained the highest score from both the televote and the jury, winning the right to sing for Denmark at the contest in Jerusalem; for the occasion they published a translated version in English of their song, entitled This Time I Mean It. The Eurovision ranked 8th on 23 competitors (equally with the Netherlands represented by Marlayne), totaling 71 points. They were the most televotes of the evening in Iceland; for the public of Sweden and Cyprus were the preferred third parties.
In 2001 she participated in the first edition of the Popstars talent show, where she was included in the girl group EyeQ with three other girls. The EyeQs won the program and released two very successful albums at national level, and then finally split in 2003.
In 2006 he participated again in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix duet with Christian Bach in Grib mig. The couple did not arrive in the top five in the first round, and could not access the superfinal. His participation in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2009 with I'll Never Fall in Love Again will get the same result.
Trine Jepsen also sang in various musicals, both local and international, including Maratondansen, Folk og røvere i Kardemomme by, Baronessen på Benzintanken, Den lille Havfrue, Cats, Evita and La bella and the beast.
