Tudor Dinu

Tudor Dinu (* 1978) is a Romanian Gräzist, Byzantine and Neogräzist.
Dinu works as a lecturer at the University of Bucharest and is a member of the Administrative Council of the European Society of Neograecistics. He has held visiting professorships at the universities of Cyprus, Berlin, Kiev and Brno.
Dinu has worked mainly in the field of Byzantine and Post-Byzantine. In 2008 he published a biography of Mihai Viteazul (1558–1601), in 2011 a biography of Nikolaos Mavrokordatos (1680–1730). He has also published translations in the field of ancient literature (Aristophanes, Plutarch, Iamblichos, Seneca, Pliny the Elder) and modern Greek literature (Ritsos, Engonopulos).
