Early Life and Club Career

Lionel Ucha Alves, commonly known as Lionel Alves or simply Ucha, is a Guinean-Bissau professional footballer born on May 9, 1988, in Lisbon, Portugal. His family hails from Guinea-Bissau.

Club Career

Ucha began his career in the minor series of the Portuguese championship and also played in the fourth French division and the second Cypriot division. In 2005, he started playing for Kachashi, a club in the lower Portuguese leagues. He then moved to various clubs, including Ovawesiu-Mosscouch, Tondeli, Mafra, and Certans, between 2007 and 2013.

In July 2013, Ucha joined the Academy, where he made his debut on August 10, 2013, in a lost match against Moscow. He scored his first goal for the club on October 23, 2013, in a home match against Oliver.

National Team Career

Ucha debuted at national level in 2017 and was later summoned to the Cup of African Nations 2021.
