2 February - In Konya, the collapse of the Emerald Apartment died 92 people.
16 March - 5 workers died, 3 workers were injured, as a result of a gray burst in Karadon Mine business in Zonguldak.
28 March - Turkey local elections were made.
May 20 – By TİKKO, the bombed vehicle attack held in Casing was paid or injured.
May 21 – State Security Courts closed.
July 22 – Sakarya’s accelerated train running between Ankara-Istanbul in Cottonova district was out of the rail due to excessive speed. 37 people died in the accident from the square, 97 people were injured.
May 31 – 2003 Istanbul attacks case started with the first hearing performed.
December 2 – The new president of Judge was Osman Arslan.
December 5 – President of the European Parliament Josep Borrell went to Diyarbakır.
December 17 – The Council of EU State and Hükûmet met in Brussels Summit. The Council puts Turkey’s membership negotiations on October 3, 2005 and the requirement for the recognition of the Cyprus Greek segment.
December 19 – 5 protection police officers at the Baghdad Embassy of Turkey lost their lives in the attack on Musul.
