The Turkish Bank is the full capital private bank of Ibrahim Hakan Börteçene, operating in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The first private bank of TRNC.
A group of merchants and trades in the leadership of the Cyprus Contractor Ziyai was established on July 1, 1901. The name in the organization is Islam Iddihar Chest.
In 1925, K£40,000 was converted into a Limited Company under the name of Nicosia Islam Iddihar Bank Ltd. In 1943, the capital was doubled, the name was the Turkish Bank of Nicosia. In 10 years from 1949 to 1959, Gazimağusa started to serve all of the island by opening Larnaca, Limassol, Baf and Lefke Branches. He was named Türk Bank Ltd. in 1972.
Bank’s branches opened in England and Turkey, in 1991, Turkish Bank in Turkey and Turkish Bank names in the UK have been transformed into autonomous two banks, creating Turkish Bank Group by converting them into the country’s independent local bank.
The Turkish Bank, which is located in the TurkishBank Group, a total of 40 branches in three countries, North Cyprus and England, has an active size of 1 billion USD and a source of 180 million USD, serves with 20 branches and 26 ATMs today.
Established in 1996, Turkish Insurance Ltd. and Allied TurkishBank IBU Ltd. which has been serving for living outside North Cyprus since 2003.
