The Turkish Barolar Association (TBB) is a senior professional organization with a public institution, a legal entity.

The Turkish Barolar Association was established to fulfill the duties it burdened by law as a professional organization.

History
The establishment of the Turkish Barolar Association for the first time held in January 1934 in Izmir, the Turkish Lawyers Congress was held on the agenda and participated in the meeting last 5 days, the representatives of the baro who decided to establish the "Turkish Association of Lawyers". However, despite this decision taken, it has not been included in the Barolar Association in Law No. 3499, which is accepted in June 27, 1938 and has many advanced new provisions according to the terms of the day.

At the end of the preliminary studies that the representatives of the baro collected in the later years, in Ankara and 1958 in Izmir, Turkey Barolar Association had a full view union in the necessity of the establishment, and for this purpose, the preparation was completed in 16 May 1963 and the establishment of "Turkey Barolar Association" with the Law No. 1136, which entered into force on 7 July 1969, was considered legal.

The General Assembly of the Turkish Barolar Association, which was collected in Ankara with delegates from all the bars of Turkey on August 9-10, 1969.

In the next years, the first of the general committees to be regularly collected in 105 delegates and Ankara Delege Av as the first President of the Turkish Barolar Association. Faruk Erem’s work in the presidential period, which was maintained by 1980, was found in significant contributions to the Turkish Barolar Association.

The Turkish Barolar Association, founded with representatives of 52 baro, is the top professional organization of all bars with the participation of 79 baro today as a result of increasing the number of baroes. The center of the Union is in Ankara. President Erinç Rightkan.
