Turkish Toraks Association is a non-governmental organization located in Ankara.

Turkish Toraks Association was founded in 1992 in Ankara in the leadership of Chest and Respiratory doctors. The Association has registered members with more than 1900.

Purpose
The aim of the Turkish Toraks Association is explained in the form of "education, research, patient care standards and national policies, ensuring the most effective protection and treatment in respiratory diseases and developing national lung health."

Events
Turkish Toraks Association has been held in the following events in line with its purpose:

Asthma, KOAH, Respiratory System Infections, Tuberculosis, Lung and Plevra Malignities, Lung pathologies, Tobacco Control, Respiratory Failure and Intensive Care, Chest Surgery, Sleep Disorders, Pediatric lung diseases, Clinical Problems, Environmental and professional lung diseases, Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Chronic Care, Respiratory Biology and Genetic and Diagnostic Methods were formed in 16 separate working groups under working groups names.
Pnömoni, Tüberculosis, Asthma and KOAH prepared diagnostic treatment guides, these guides are distributed to doctors by pressing 25,000 pieces.
Turkish Chest Diseases have made great contribution to the formation of the Qualification Board and hosted the meeting of the Qualification Committee.
The Council of Assistants of Turkish Toraks Association was created.
Toraks Newsletter, Toraks Journal, Turkish Respiratory Journal, Toraks Books and Turkish Toraks Association Training Books are published five publishing organs under Series names.
Every year regular congresses are created and organized many symposiums and meetings with various topics.
Awards: Turkish Toraks Association, the development of respiratory diseases science branch, the solution of national health problems that concern the respiratory system, the Turkish Toraks Association has promised its members in the national and international platform and provides the following awards for the purpose of promoting and promoting scientific research made for the capture of contemporary scientific levels in respiratory diseases:
