Taskioy is a village in Lefke Province in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The territory of the community belongs by law to the Republic of Cyprus, according to which the village is called Petra.
However, after the 1974 Turkish invasion, the village is not controlled by the Republic of Cyprus and de facto belongs to the unrecognised state of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
The village had a mixed population of Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots, with a majority of the first. Part of the village is used as a camp. The lands to the north of the village are olive groves.
