The UEFA Champions League 2015- 16 (UEFA Champions League) was the 61st edition. The competition started on June 30, 2015 and ended on May 28, 2016.

Barcelona was unable to defend its title successfully by being eliminated by Atlético Madrid in quarter finals.

Real Madrid won its eleventh title after winning the Atlético de Madrid.
