**1997 UEFA European Under-18 Championship Qualifying**

The 1997 UEFA European Under-18 Championship qualifying was the process of determining which teams would participate in the final tournament, held in Iceland in 1997. A total of 45 youth national teams from Europe competed in two rounds of qualification.

**First Round**
