**Union of Holy Confessors**

The Union of Holy Confessors was a Cypriot football team based in the parish of Ayioi Omoloyites, Nicosia. The team's history dates back to 1944 when it was founded.

**History**
------------

The team joined the Cyprus Football Federation (COP) as a second-class team on September 22, 1957. In its first league attendance in 1957-58, the Union of Holy Confessors participated in the Nicosia-Ammochostos-Keryneas group of the second category, which was divided into geographical regions at that time.

In the 1960-61 season, the team won the Cypriot Second Division championship. However, due to a rule that did not allow teams from the second division to advance directly to the first division, they were unable to participate in the top-tier league.

The Union of Holy Confessors took part in the Cyprus Cup for the first and only time in 1957-58, facing New Salamina in Round One. The team was later dissolved.
