Usharbay () - a village in the municipal district "Mogoytuy district" of the Aginsky Buryat district of the Trans-Baikal Territory of Russia. Administrative center of the rural settlement "Usharbai".
Geography
The village is located 15 km north-west of the village of Mogoitui.
Climate
The climate is characterized as sharply continental with moderately hot summers and prolonged frosty low-snow winters. The average air temperature of the coldest month (January) is −22 - −26 °C; the warmest month (July) - 18-20 °C. There are also large variations in seasonal and daily temperatures, insufficient humidity, large dry air and a significant number of sunny days per year. Vegetation period 150 days or more
History
Founded in 1939.
In 2018, the Law of the Trans-Baikal Territory of November 15, 2018 N 1646-ZZK “On the creation of settlements in the territory of the Mogoytuysky district of the Trans-Baikal Territory” in the territory of the rural settlement “Usharbay” formed the following rural settlements:
1) a rural settlement with its classification as a village with the intended name - New Usharbay;
2) a rural settlement with its classification as a farm with the intended name - Western Usharbay.

Famous people
Dashirabdanova Lhamazhap Bubeevna (1957, Usharbay village of Mogoitui district - 2.11.1982, Chita), master of sports international. archery class (1977). Dugarov Dashi-ima Dugarovich (April 27, 1933, ulus Amitkhash Aginsky national district of Chita region – November 23, 2001, Ulan-Ude). At the age of 29 he graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. E. Repin. In 1964 he was admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR. For 15 years he was the chairman of the Buryat branch of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Under his leadership, the Union of Artists of Buryatia implemented grandiose monumental projects (Kh.Namsaraev BagtD, 1983, Jidinsky cultural and sports complex, 1984). Through exhibition activities, Buryat fine art was known in Russia, in the Union republics (Baku, Yerevan, Almaty) and abroad (India, France, GDR, Cyprus). In 1991, the All-Buryat Association for the Development of Culture (VARK) was established, Dashi-Nima Dugarovich was elected president of which. He organized a studio-workshop Buryaad Zurag.
