Organization

Participants
The seven participants were chosen among the 312 proposals, and were revealed on 12 January 2022. The songs will be published in digital cyclically from 13 to 21 January 2022.

Final
The final was held on 26 February 2022 at the Logomo of Turku and was presented by Paula Vesala and Mmiisas. The exit order was announced on 16 February 2022.

The evening was opened by the Blind Channel, winners of the previous edition, while the JVG performed during the televote band.

Finnish have followed at least one part of the live event, with an average of one million spectators, making it the most followed edition of UMK. Votes were sent, of which with the official app and via SMS or call.
