Valentinos Fakontis (Paphos, October 3, 1985) is a Greek Cypriot politician. Since 2021 he has been a Member of Parliament in the Paphos Electoral District elected with AKEL.

Biographical data
Valentinus Facontis was born in Paphos on October 3, 1985. He obtained a degree in civil engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He works as a civil engineer.

He is a member of the Provincial Board of the Association of Civil Engineers Pafos (2020-2021) and a friend of the Margaret Liassidou Foundation (2012-2021), and was a member of the Central Board of Directors of the Association of Civil Engineers (2015-2017) and a member of the Provincial Board of Directors ETEK (2015-2018).

He is married to Niobi Michael and has 3 children.

Path Policy
In 2019 he became a member of the AKEL Geroskipou Complex Committee and served as a member of EDON (2001–2003) and member of the Progressive C.F. (2005–2011).

In the 2016 municipal election he was elected alderman in the Municipality of Geroskipou with AKEL. In 2016-2021, in addition to a Municipal Councillor in the Municipality of Geroskipou, he also served as a School curator Geroskipou.

He was elected MP in the 2021 parliamentary election in the Paphos Electoral District with AKEL for the XII Parliamentary Period.
