Valentino Lai

Biography

Valentino Lai was born on 3 February 1984, in Cagliari, Italy. His parents were from Sardinia and Lower Modena.

Career

### Club

Lai started his football activity at the age of 13. He made his debut in Serie A on 17 March 2002 for Venezia, playing altogether 6 games in the top series. The next season he moved to Palermo, but played only one game in Serie B.

After two loan spells at Salernitana and Triestina, Lai returned to Sweden in June 2005, signing a 2-year contract with Landskrona BoIS, which played in Superettan. He then went on to play for Vejle Boldklub in Denmark. In the winter of 2010, he was loaned out to Apollon Limassol, but after leaving them in summer 2010, Lai returned to Vejle BK.

### International career

Lai represented Sweden at U21 level and also played for the Sweden national team internationally.
