Valeri Borisovich Zikov (; born February 1, 1979 in Gorki, USSR, Russia) is a Russian football player who played as a defender.

Biography

Club career

With the Dynamo Moscow, he won two USSR Cups.

With the same team, he reached the Cup final in 1972, being beaten by the Scottish Glasgow Rangers. Zikov fights the entire final at Camp Nou in Barcelona.

With the Dynamo, he played 213 games in the Soviet first division, scoring a single goal in 1971.

Career selection
With the USSR team, he played 4 games, without a goal, between 1970 and 1971.

He played his first national team game on a friendly basis against Bulgaria. He then played three games in 1971, counting for the 1972 European Championship playoffs: one against Spain, one against Cyprus and one against Northern Ireland.

He was one of the winners of the 1970 World Cup. During the world organized in Mexico, he plays no game.
