Vaso Vasić (*26). April 1990 in Leuggern is a Serbian-Swiss football goalkeeper.

Career

Association
Vasić began his career in the second team of the Grasshopper Club Zurich. He came to a total of seven games for the reserve of the Grasshoppers in the then third-class 1st league. In the summer of 2008 he moved to second division club FC Winterthur. On 21 February 2009, the 16th matchday, he made his professional debut in the Challenge League at 0-0 against Servette FC. After he had been used a total of nine times for the FCW in the Challenge League until the end of the season, he advanced in the following season 2009/10 to the main goalkeeper and missed only one league game. After the return of Christian Leite, who was awarded to FC Gossau in the previous season, he mostly acted as a substitute goalkeeper and played a total of ten games in the second highest Swiss league in the following one and a half years. In February 2012 he moved to third division club SC YF Juventus Zurich. Until the end of the season he played 17 times in the third-class 1st league. In the summer of 2012 he joined FC Schaffhausen. In his first season in Schaffhausen, he completed all 30 games in the first division promotion, now the third highest Swiss league, over the full season. The club rose as champions in the Challenge League. The following season, Vasić scored 31 games in the Challenge League.

In the summer of 2014 he returned to the super division Grasshopper Club Zurich. At GCZ, the goalkeeper also established himself initially and played 27 times in the Super League in his first season. As of early 2016, it was used less frequently. In his second and third season in the professional team of Grasshopper Club, he played a total of 38 games in the highest Swiss league. In his fourth season he was behind the number 1 Heinz Lindner replacement goalkeeper and came only to a short bet. He then moved to Cyprus in the summer of 2018 for first division team Apollon Smyrnis. Vasić played two games in the First Division. In January 2019, he signed a contract with the Belgian first division club Royal Excel Mouscron. In the following one and a half seasons he completed a total of 17 games for the Belgians in Division 1A. In the season 2020/21 he was not used.

At the 2021/22 season he returned to Switzerland and joined the super division team FC Lucerne.

National team
Vasić played five games for the Serbian U-21 selection.
