Vasos Tsibidaros (Karea Laconias, 1919 – Athens, 2002) was a Greek journalist and writer.

Life Story
He was born in 1919 in Karea, Eastern Mani and first engaged in journalism during the Occupation, while after the liberation he was in charge of the Press Office of the regency of Archbishop Damascus. His journalistic course lasted for more than four decades, during which time he carried out dozens of missions in 35 states. He also lived for years in London, where he was an employee at the Press Office of the Greek Embassy (a post from which he ceased after the imposition of the Colonels' Junta) and a correspondent of various Greek newspapers. The most important journalistic achievement of Tsimbidaru is considered his investigation into the murder of journalist George Polk, who contributed to the discharge of Gregory Stackopoulos.

Among other things, he worked in the Athens, Front, Greek Day, Acropolis, Afternoon and Free Press. At the same time he was a correspondent for the Cypriot newspaper The Liberal and National Preacher of New York, while being the editor of the Greek newspaper Front of the United Kingdom.

At the same time, he was a book writer of travel, historical-laographic, and journalistic content. He died in Athens on 9 October 2002.
