Vertical Pass Test (short DGS) is the name of the test, which is carried out in July or August every year by Measurement, Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM) for students who have graduated from educational pre-graduate programs since 2000.

General information

The general purpose of the test applied in the test is to measure the numerical and verbal content intelligence skills that are effective in the success in the postgraduate learning. The question numbers of the test are determined in a total of 100 questions and a test period of 135 minutes.

DGS Score Calculator

DGS scores will be calculated based on the placement of candidates using numerical and verbal standard points calculated from the points to which candidates have received from the test.

The formula published by ÖSYM is quite long and does not always publish the necessary data. For this reason, candidates are not able to calculate their scores. In candidates to apply for vertical transition to undergraduate programs, occupational high schools and open teaching pre-license programs are sought to be a graduate requirement. The candidates who have met graduation requirements outside the internship can apply in the last class.
