"Vertical Pass Test"

--- CONTENT ---
Vertical Pass Test (short DGS) is the name of the test, which is carried out in July or August every year by Measurement, Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM) for students who have graduated from educational pre-graduate programs since 2000.

General information

The general purpose of the test applied in the test is to measure the numerical and verbal content intelligence skills that are effective in the success in the postgraduate learning. The question numbers of the test are determined in a total of 100 questions and a test period of 135 minutes.

There is a question of tenar logic in both sections.

The questions prepared for this purpose are aimed at measuring information and skills gained in pre-license programs. The test questions are given that graduates from different fields can be answered. In the test, 4 wrong 1 leads to the right of the wrong part.

DGS Score Calculator

DGS scores will be achieved with the collection of major pre-licensed success scores (AÖBP) by multiplying by certain number of points of the scientific and numerical standard points calculated from the test results of candidates.

DGS scores will be calculated based on the placement of candidates using numerical and verbal standard points calculated from the points to which candidates have received from the test.

The relevant mainly pre-license success score is 0.6 standard for each area, while the numerical part is calculated with a numerical score of 3, verbal score 0.6 in students, the numerical score is 0.6, the verbal score is 3 and finally numerical and verbal scores in equal weight students with 1.8. DGS Score calculation was described in detail with the above information on the guide published by ÖSYM Tags

The formula published by ÖSYM is quite long and does not always publish the necessary data. For this reason, candidates are not able to calculate their scores. However, each lesson has a question coefficient in itself. English can also be expressed as points that fall on the net for each of the Math courses. These coefficients can be detected after the examination of ÖSYM for that year.
