Victor Okechukwu Agali
======================Victor Okechukwu Agali (born December 29, 1978) is a former Nigerian football player.
### Career
Agali began to be noticed at the age of 17 when he won the title of leader of the second series of the Nigerian championship. These good performances applied for him the transfer to Europe and so in 1996 he was contracted by Olympique Marseille, where he played five games. However, due to difficulties in getting involved in the first team, he was loaned to Sporting Toulon in Ligue 2, where he had a successful season with 15 goals in 38 games.
In the 1998-1999 season, Agali moved on to Germany and signed a five-year contract with F.C. Hansa Rostock for a transfer fee of 250,000 euros. He played three seasons in Rostock, completing 66 games and scoring 17 goals. In 2001, he was transferred to FC Schalke 04 for 5.1 million euros, the highest transfer fee for Rostock at that time.
Agali's greatest success came with FC Schalke 04 when they won the DFB Cup in 2002. He scored a goal in the final against Bayer 04 Leverkusen (4:2). However, his contract was terminated by FC Schalke 04 in April 2004 due to alleged misconduct during a rehabilitation.
### International Career
Agali represented Nigeria at the 2000 Summer Olympics and was part of the national team's staff for the 2002 World Cup.
