Victor Christoffer Jensen (born 8 February 2000 in Copenhagen) is a Danish football player. He has been signed to FC Utrecht since 2022.
Career
Association
Victor Jensen played first for Hvidovre IF in his youth, then at FC Copenhagen School of Excellence. In 2017 he moved to the Netherlands for the Academy of Ajax Amsterdam. His contract there ran for the time being until 2020 and he was first used in the club’s U19. On January 12, 2018, he made his debut in a professional league when he played for reserve team Jong Ajax at 1:2 on 20. Matchday of the Jupiler League (second Dutch league) against Fortuna Sittard. On February 5, Jensen managed in the 2-0 victory on the 23rd matchday against Helmond Sport with the goal to the final score his first goal in the men's area. His first game in the Eredivisie followed on December 12, 2020, when Victor Jensen won the 4-0 home win over PEC Zwolle in the 75. Minute for the goal scorer Antony was substituted. On 1 February 2021 – shortly before the end of the winter transfer period – Victor Jensen was awarded back to Denmark, where he played for FC Nordsjælland. There he came regularly to use and was in 12 of his 18 points in the starting eleven.
The loan agreement expired at the end of the season, after which Jensen returned to Ajax. He only came to a point bet and otherwise he only ran for the second team, so he was on the 1st. He joined Rosenborg BK on loan in March 2022, for which his contract in Amsterdam was extended until mid-2024. After the loan expired, he returned to Ajax at the beginning of 2023, but left the club again at the end of the transfer period and changed on 31. January 2023 to FC Utrecht.
National team
On October 6, 2015, Jensen played in a 0-2 loss in a test match in Skive against Hungary for the first time for the Danish U16 national team. For the U16 he came to seven missions. On August 3, 2016, Jensen played for the Danish U17 national team for the first time, when he was in the 4-1 victory during the Nordic Cup in Finland against Cyprus in the initial formation and was replaced after 65 minutes for Nicolai Baden Frederiksen. On 28 February 2017, Jensen completed his eleventh and final game for the Danish U17 in the 2-0 test match win in Belfast against Northern Ireland. On September 1, 2017, Jensen completed his first of six appearances for the Danish U18 national team in a test match in Nyborg against the Netherlands. Already on 27 February 2018 he played in a test match in the Catalan Lloret de Mar against Scotland for the Danish U19 national team for the first time. Since 2019 he is active in the U21 national team. Also for the U20 selection he completed two friendly games in June 2021.
