================Vikla (Greek: ) is a village and municipality located in the Limassol District of Cyprus. It is situated at an altitude of approximately 455 meters, about 22 kilometers northeast of Limassol.
Location and Environment
The village covers an area of 3.94263 square kilometres and borders several other villages:
* To the southeast: Vasa Kellakiou
* To the south: Sanida
* To the west: Klonari
* To the north: Akapnou
Vikla is located on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, near the border with the district of Larnaka.
History
Vikla was once a thriving village that was part of the "Great Coming". However, in the mid-1980s, it was abandoned by its last inhabitants. Today, only a few house ruins and the church of St. John the Merciful remain as remnants of the village's past.
In recent years, a golf course has been built on the site of the village, and a single resident now lives in the community.
Population Development
According to the census data:
* In 2011, Vikla had only one resident.

Notable Events
In 2005, a fire burned down all buildings in Vikla except for the church.
