Vincent Thill (born 4 February 2000 in Luxembourg) is a Luxembourg footballer who plays as a midfielder in the Sabah F. K. of the Premier League of Azerbaijan.

Initiations
Vicent began playing football in the children's divisions of Fola Esch, then went through Progrès Niederkorn, Rodange and Pétange, clubs in Luxembourg.

At the age of 11, a few scout at the Metz Football Club found out and recommended it to the club. The registration took place and travelled to France to continue its training in Metz. He adapted to French football and was able to stand out in the youth.

On February 9, 2015, at 15 years of age, he signed a five-year training agreement with Metz, with the presence of the Vice President of the Luxembourg Football Federation and the national team coach.

On 26 May 2016, at the age of 16, he signed his first professional contract with Metz, for 3 seasons plus 2 possible, in exchange for 250,000 euros per year. Bayern of Munich offered them 6 million, even the president of the Bavarian group Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was going to travel to Metz to convince Thill and his family, but Vincent decided on his own to stay in the French club, because of his greater chances of showing himself.

Philippe Hinschberger, coach of the first team, first called Vincent to play for date 3 of the Ligue 1 2016-17, was in the alternate bank, did not enter but defeated 2 to 0 the Angers.

He debuted as a professional at Ligue 1 on September 21, 2016, was on date 6 against Bordeaux in his second call, entered in minute 82 with the number 29 T-shirt and played the final moments at the Stade Saint- Symphorien before more than 15,700 spectators, but lost 3 to 0. With 16 years and 230 days he became the first player in the category 2000 to play in one of the 5 most important leagues in Europe, the Premier League, Series A, Bundesliga, LaLiga and Ligue 1.

Assignment
On August 8, 2018, his assignment to Pau F. C was made official one season.

On 1 July 2019 the loan was made official for a season to the U. S. Orléans.

Stage in Portugal
On September 10, 2020, the National C.D. announced its registration for the next four seasons.

National selection

Lower categories
Vincent has been part of the selection of Luxembourg in the categories sub-15, sub-16 and sub-17.

In 2015, he had his first summons to defend the national selection, it was to play in February a series of friendly against Cyprus sub-16. He first played with Luxembourg on February 17, scored his first goal with the selection and won 2 to 1. Two days later they played the rematch but lost 2 to 1.

He was again called to play with the sub-16 a friendly UEFA tournament from 13 to 16 April, in preparation for the European Championship sub-17 the following year. They faced Andorra, Liechtenstein and who served as local, Montenegro, won the first two games
