Biography

Playing career
He played as a player for the teams Arjesh (Piteshti), Rapid, National (both Bucharest), Turkish Bursaspor and Concordia from Kyazhna. In 2003, he was on view in Moscow “Spartak” and played control matches against Liepaja “Metallurg” (victory 2: 0) and “Zimbru” (defeat 2: 3), but soon left the team.

As part of the Romanian national team, he held 5 official meetings in 2002 and one unofficial one in 2003 as part of the Cup of the Cyprus Football Association against Russia, which was not included in the register of matches of the Romanian national team. It was at the end of the tournament that the “red and white” were interested in Vintile’s candidacy for the position of goalkeeper.

Coaching career
As a coach, he is known for working with the clubs Concordia, Galatasaray, Viitorul (Constanza), Voluntari, Metaloglobus and Astra, as well as with the Romanian national team under 17 years old. He worked as an assistant to Gheorghe Haji in a number of clubs: he was familiar with Haji thanks to his performance in Bursaspor during Haji’s work in the Turkish team. In 2019, he headed Steaua.
