Valentín Nicolás Viola (born August 28, 1991) is an Argentine footballer who plays as a winger.

### Early Life and Career

Viola was born in Moreno, Argentina. He began his youth career at San Lorenzo de Almagro but later joined the inferior divisions of Racing Club after being released from San Lorenzo's eighth division team. His father, Norberto Viola, would later become his representative.

### Professional Career

#### Racing Club (2010-2012)

Viola made his professional debut for Racing Club on September 4, 2010, in a match against Colón. He scored his first goal for the club on January 27, 2011, in a 2-1 defeat to Godoy Cruz for the Mendoza Uvita Cup.

#### Sporting Lisbon (2012)

In the summer of 2012, Viola moved to Sporting Lisbon for a transfer fee of €4 million. He made his debut for the club on August 27, 2012, in a match against Rio Ave and scored his first goal for Sporting in a Europa League match against Videoton on December 7.

#### Return to Racing Club (2013)

In the summer of 2013, Viola returned to Racing Club in search of playing practice. He scored a goal in a South American Cup match against Lanus on August 15.

#### Kardemir Karabyukspor (2014)

In the summer of 2014, Viola joined Turkish club Kardemir Karabyukspor on loan. He made his debut for the club on August 31 in a match against Fenerbahçe.
