Virginia "Gini" Kirchberger was born on May 25, 1993, in Vienna, Austria.

Club Career

Kirchberger began her football career at a young age, playing for the male C-youth team of SV Aspern from the ages of 12 to 14. She then joined the Bundesliga team USC Landhaus in Vienna.

In 2009, she was signed by FC Bayern Munich's second division team and made her debut on September 20, 2009, in a 1-1 draw against ASV Hagsfeld. After two seasons and 30 league games with Bayern Munich, Kirchberger moved to BV Cloppenburg in June 2011.
