Vodafone Telecommunications Joint Company or Vodafone Turkey (formerly Telsim), is a mobile telecommunications coordinator that provides GSM service in Turkey. Telsim, established by Uzan Holding, has served all assets, license rights and base stations in 2005 until the British telecommunications company was purchased by Vodafone. Telsim, which is 9.7 million subscribers, has been connected to Vodafone on 28 December 2005, has been named Vodafone Turkey on May 24, 2006.
Vodafone Turkey has 23.7 million mobile customers according to 26 July 2019. Vodafone Turkey, one of the world’s largest international mobile communication companies on income basis, is the second largest mobile communication company in Turkey with 20,6 million users from November 11, 2014. Vodafone Turkey’s second largest international direct investment in Turkey has exceeded 13.6 billion TL in 2006. Vodafone Turkey operates in all provinces of Turkey with more than 3300 employees, more than 1200 stores, 23 thousand sales points and 53 thousand people shareholder families.
Vodafone Turkey also has a IPTV service called Vodafone TV. Vodafone TV; Vodafone is given in addition to invoice for mobile and home internet customers or in some cases as gifts.
History
Telsim (1993-2005)
The Uzan family was founded in 1993 by Teknotel, then received the name of Telsim and met with customers in May with the permission received in February 1994. "TEL", telecommunications in the name of the company; "SİM" is the first heces of SIM card. In 1995, he reached 16,000 subscribers.
Telsim was closed between 27 November 1995 and 1 August 1996. On November 27, 1995, Turkish Telecom was handed to Telsim, with the claim that the Cyprus’s GSM grid dealt with illegal roads without resorting to the international GSM consortium and closed the network.27 GSM f since April 1998 is not a law related to the subject
