"Vuni Palace"

Vuni is an ancient palace and settlement in Cyprus. The history of 500 BC.
The palace was built to keep the city of Soli, located about 6km away, in a period of which the Pers reigns against Pers domination in Cyprus. The building of the palace was completed in four years and had 137 rooms. Rakım was built on a hill with 267 meters and surrounded by walls.
There are three main parts of the building, these are the Temple of Athena, palace and other temples located immediately below the temple, houses located down. This three parts were installed on three different terraces, which are sloped towards the sea from the hill. In 449, Athens General Kimon's palace was held from a architectural change, where Greek architecture features were seen in the period from 440 BC. The Soli Kingdom, which deals with Pers around 390 BC, entered the Vuni, which is located in the Greek domination and threatens itself continuously and burned the city. The city was completely harap and was not built more.
In the palace there were baths where water from wells was heated with hot water system. In the center of the palace there was a courtyard surrounded by milk, living rooms were around. A path from the palace was going to the downs of the city, called "ral way".
Vuni was condemned by the Swedish Cyprus Discovery Trip team from 1927-1931.
