WISHES (Web-based Information Service for Higher Education Students) is a web-based information service for high-learning students. WISHES, a European Project conducted by nine European institutes, offers European-based learning and working opportunities to students all over the world, which is a user-oriented web-based information portal. Based on the needs of more than 4000 students, WISHES collects information together in the framework of Bologna and Lisbon criteria and creates profiles for European high-learning institutions and employers.
More than 100 European high-learning institutes, European associations, various national agencies and European Commission, offering WISHES services to three main target groups with various networks and strong support created by the European Commission: students around the world, high-learning institutions, companies.

WISHES target audiences Home

WISHES offers three different target audiences:

Students- college students and college students who want to read or work abroad worldwide. In addition, WISHES also targets students who want to do higher education abroad. Near relations with student associations such as ESN (Erasmus Student Network) and EMSA (European Medical Students Association).

High-learning institutions- universities, colleges, academic communities, educational networks, European networks, and other countries who signed Bologna consensus can represent themselves and offer their possibilities to WISHES. WISHES concretely targets people responsible for international relations such as vector aids and international office workers.

Companies- employers, members of professional associations and companies based on Bologna antification seek international students and new graduates worldwide.

Basic Items

To meet the needs of international students today, WISHES Mobility Portal consists of three components:

Information Portal: The information portal provides learning opportunities in Europe. In addition to information about different lessons possible here, country, city, shelter, living conditions and so on are provided.

Recruitment database: The second component of the platform offers international recruiting databases, employers and business possibilities, meaning individual web-based business possibilities.

Online Community: The third component of WISHES Mobility Portal can comment, discuss, evaluate different work, business possibilities and basic problems of living abroad. This virtual market is configured based on university cities of different countries in Europe and provides virtual meeting of past and future students among different student generations.
