William Owusu

William Owusu (; born March 1, 1979) is a Ghanaian footballer. He moved to Ajman Club as an attacker.

Club

Young people

Owusu started playing football in his native country with Real Tamale United. In his country, he was noticed by RSC Anderlecht, who brought him to Belgium in 2006. Owusu only stays in Anderlecht for a short time. Because of an administrative problem, he returned to Ghana. There, it is spotted by the Portuguese club of Sporting Portugal.

Start-ups and loans
In 2008, Owusu joined the A core of Sporting Portugal. Due to the great competition, he is not in the team. He played mainly with Team B, but the club refused to let him go and rented him in the second Portuguese division at the Real Sport Clube for a season and a half. Upon expiry of the loan, the Ghanaian is loaned again. Sporting Portugal lends it until the end of the season at Gil Vicente FC still in the second Portuguese division.

For the 2010-2011 season, he was loaned to the Cercle Bruges. The Belgian club has a cooperation agreement with Sporting Portugal. Owusu is not the only player to be rented at the Circle. Renato Neto and Nuno Reis also belong to Sporting Portugal. The purpose of these loans is that they can win the pace of competition. In the Circle, Owusu is often a holder under coach Bob Peeters. In the Belgian first division, he made his debut in the outdoor game against Germinal Beerschot.

With the team of the Bruges Circle, he played a match in the Europa League in , against the Cypriot club of Anorthosis Famagusta. He scored a goal in this game, despite Bruges bowing to the 3-1 score.

In , Sporting Portugal lends Owusu to the KVC Westerlo and remains in Belgium. The Ghanaian striker is loaned for two years by his former Portuguese employer.

Beginning of the Antwerp adventure

With the Royal Antwerp club, he scored 13 goals in the Belgian second division in the 2014-2015 season.

The following year, he was loaned to the KSV Rollers for the rest of the season.

In the 2016-2017 season final, he became second-tier champion thanks to the return wins on his former club, the KSV Rollers.
