The Wimbledon Tournament 2012 was the 126th edition of the Championships, tennis tournament played on the grass and third Slam Seasonal Trial for 2012; it took place between 25 June and 8 July 2012 on the 19 camps of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, including for the Seniors category the single male and female tournaments, and double male, female and mixed. The male and female singles were Novak Đoković and Petra Kvitová respectively. Novak Đoković lost in the semi-finals to Roger Federer who won the single male for the 7th time in his career defeating Andy Murray in the final, Petra Kvitová lost in the fourth round to Serena Williams who won the 5th title in the female single by defeating Agnieszka Radwańska in the final.

Summary
Roger Federer won the men's singles tournament for the 7th time in his career defeating the Spanish Albert Ramos-Viñolas 6-1, 6-1, 6-1, 6-1. In the second round he had the best on Italian Fabio Fognini in three sets with a score of 6–1, 6–3, 6–2. In the next round he had to play five sets to beat the French Julien Benneteau beat 4-6, 6(3)–7, 6-2, 7–6(6), 6-1. In the eighth finals he defeated the Belgian Xavier Malisse this time in four sets for 7–6(1), 6-1, 4-6, 6–3. In the quarters he had the best on Russian Michail Južnyj for 6–1, 6–2, 6–2. In the semi-finals he beat the Serbian Novak Đoković once again in four sets with the score of 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3. In the final he defeated Andy Murray in four sets with the score of 4-6, 7-5, 6-3, 6-4.

Serena Williams won the Women's Singles tournament for the 5th time in career. In the 1st round he beat the Czech Barbora Strýcová with a score of 6–2, 6–4. In the 2nd round he defeated Melinda Czink for 6-1, 6-4. In the next round he had the best on Chinese Jie Zheng with the score of 6(5)–7, 6-2, 9-7. In the eighth finals he beat Jaroslava Švedova for 6–1, 2–6, 7–5. In the quarters Petra Kvitová sold for 6-3, 7-5. In the semi-finals he beat Viktoryja Azaranka for 6–3, 7–6(6) and in the final the Polish Agnieszka Radwańska 6-1, 5-7, 6-2.

Tournament programme
The tournament takes place in 13 days divided in two weeks, on the 1st Sunday no meeting took place. Traditionally this day is called Middle Sunday.

Qualifications took place from 18 to 20 June 2012. The winners of the third round were qualified for the singles and the second round for doubles:
