Wolf "A Wolfk" Rice (6 July 1936 - 12 June 2019) was an Israeli athlete. It was 9 times the Israeli champion (1959–1961, 1963–1968) and Han Israel for about 19 years in a triple jump. Excellent basketball and the basket king of the Bernner Hill (Figure 4,255 points) team that played in the first league and 28th of all time in Israel, a volleyball player in the staff of Israel and a ballad player on the street worker. In addition, Majd was in armor.
biography
Rice was born to Paola and Daisy Rice on the Barner Hill, where he also grew up. His mother, Paula, was an athlete with a growing movement in Damascus, immigrated to Israel in 1934 and joined the kibbutz. His father, Izzy, is native to Desão in Germany. His parents knew and married in the kibbutz. Wolf's brother is the basketball player Gideon (Aloff Israel and the eight-year-old goddessman in a jump) and Judah.
Basketball
In 1959, Wolf Rice began to play in the basketball team of the Bernner Hill, playing in the team for 16 seasons when he all hit 4,255 points, place 28 of all time.
A bronze medal at Maccabi
In the athletic competitions of the fifth stage held in 1957 Rice won a bronze medal in a triple jump resulting in 13.54 meters, after B. Burstein of Australia (13.84 meters) and Robert Hartenberg from the United States (13.80 meters).
In the Olympic Championships in Athletics held in November 1958, Rice won a gold medal in a winding leap at the height of a new 35-meter IDF.

In the Israel Championship, held on July 1, 1959, Rice won a gold medal in a triple jump at a new Israeli height of 14.22 meters, improving the five-year peak of David Kushner (14.05 meters).
In a contest held in the Mochi Stadium in Tel Aviv in June 1960, Rice set up a new Israeli record of 14.35 meters. Three weeks later, at the Israel Championships held in July, he won a gold medal in a triple jump at a new Israeli height of 14.41 meters.
In a competition between the Israeli team and the Cyprus team held in the Kuwaiti Stadium in November 1962, Rice set up a new Israeli record of 14.45 meters.
In a contest held at the end of March 1963 Rice set up a new Israeli record of 14.63 meters. In the Israeli championship at the end of June, he won a gold medal in a triple jump at a new Israeli height of 15.14 meters.
In the 7th Infantry Athletic Competition held at Ramat Gan in 1965, Rice won a triple jump in the result of 13.94 meters, after Michael Salby from Britain (14.00 meters) and before Cohen from Canada (13.92 meters).
Management career
Rice ran the carpenter of the Bernner Hill, one of the five largest furniture factories in the kibbutz industry.
It was released in the early 1980s as the representative of the collective industry to the United States. After the company failed, it was called to return to Israel, but decided to stay there and open a successful independent business.
In 1986, Rice was arrested in the U.S. on suspicion of selling weapons to Iran. After two months, the U.S. prosecution cancelled most of the severe indictments against him and was accused of reporting other acts.
After his return from the United States, he lived in Herzliya and his last years in thousands of Mendes.
Wolf Rice died on June 12, 2019, and was buried at the cemetery on Hill Brenner. He left his wife, Deborah to a flower house, two sons and two daughters.
