The women's Panhellenic Open Track Championship is the largest and oldest women's track event in Greece. The first event took place in 1931 and until 1983 participated in it and the Cypriot teams which won the national championship six times. By 1960 it was made separate from the respective men's championship. Since then the two championships have been organized together, always with a separate score.

The winner of the event is Panhellenic G.S. with 30 titles, and has the record of consecutive conquests with 18 (1992-2009).
