The 2016-17 Cyprus Cup was the 44th edition of the Cyprus Cup (42nd under the auspices of the Cyprus Football Federation). The eight teams of the First Division 2018-19 participated. The winner was the Uplift for the 7th time in her history.

Operating system
In the quarter-final phase the eight teams were drawn randomly to each other in four pairs and gave double matches (within and away). If a team succeeded in two wins, then it got that qualification.

If in the two matches the two teams had one win, as below, immediately after the end of the second match the gold set was held:
First match 3 – 0, second match 0 – 3 or 1 – 3 then gold set
First match 3 – 1, second match 0 – 3 or 1 – 3 then gold set
First match 3 – 2, second match 2 – 3 then gold set
First match 3 – 0 or 3 – 1, second match 2 – 3 qualify the winner of the first match
First match 3 – 2, second match 0 – 3 or 1 – 3 qualify the winner of the second match

The four winners qualified for the Final Four. In the semi-final phase and in the final there were single games.

Quarterfinals
Six teams participated in the quarter-final phase. AEL passed into the final four without a fight after the Renaissance left. Each team competed at its headquarters and at the seat of the opponent. The following table shows the final results of the games.

Final Four
The 4 teams qualified by the quarterfinal phase participated in the Final Four of the event, held at the White Theo Closed Gym in Nicosia.

Semi-finals
In the semi-final phase there were single games. The following table shows the final results of the games, held on April 12, 2019.

Final
The final was qualified for Upliftment and AEL. The game was held on 13 April 2019 at the White God Closed Gym in Nicosia. The winner was the Uplift with a score of 3-1 sets (25-14, 25-18, 16-25, 25-20).
