THE WORKERS OF THE ISRAEL ASSOCIATION, OR IN THE HEADS OF THE FAYYA AND PAGANI BOXES, IS A MOVEMENT OF HAREDI WORKERS WHO FIRST ACTED WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE ASSOCIATION OF ISRAEL AND LATER OUTSIDE IT, AND WAS ASSOCIATED WITH THE AGREEMENT WITH THE GENERAL HISTADRUT. SHE ACTED AS A PARTY TO RUN IN THE KNESSET ELECTIONS AND IS RECOGNIZED AS A “RESIDENTIAL MOVEMENT” THAT WILL SERVE 14 SETTLEMENTS, INCLUDING NINE SEATS AND TWO KIBBUTZS.
ALSO AN ANTI-ZIONIST GROUP WITHIN THE ISRAEL SOCIETY, WHICH OPERATED A PERIOD IN THE 1940S, USED THE NAME OF PAGANJI, BUT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WORKERS OF THE ISRAEL SOCIETY.
HISTORY OF HISTORY
THE WORKERS OF THE ASSOCIATION OF ISRAEL WAS FOUNDED IN THE YEAR OF THE UNITED STATES (1922) IN LODZ IN POLAND, FIRST UNDER THE NAME "THE AMMUNITY OF ISRAEL". THE BASIC ASSEMBLY OF THE MOVEMENT IN THE LAND OF ISRAEL TOOK PLACE IN THE YEAR OF TEL AVIV (1923), THE ASSOCIATION WAS REGISTERED AS A OTTOMAN SOCIETY ON MARCH 28, 1934. THE TARGETS OF THE MOVEMENT, AS PRESENTED IN THE EARLY DAYS, WERE:
ORGANIZE THE WORKERS ON THE BASIS OF TORAH, AND TAKE CARE OF THEIR PROFESSIONAL PROTECTION.
CREATE RELIGIOUS SETTLEMENT POINTS
TO INVENT A WORK FOR JEWS OF TORAH GUARDIANS
ESTABLISH COOPERATIVE INSTITUTIONS AND SOCIAL INSTITUTIONS THAT WILL ACT ACCORDING TO THE TORAH
SETTLEMENT DISPUTES BETWEEN EMPLOYEES AND THEIR EMPLOYER ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF TORAH
TO STRIVE FOR THE CONQUEST OF TORAH IN THE LIFE OF THE STATE AND THE ECONOMY AND IN ALL AREAS OF LIFE.
ONE OF THE MOTIVATIONS FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE MOVEMENT WAS THE ISSUE OF MAINTAINING THE SABBATH IN JEWISH-OWNED FACTORIES IN POLAND, WHICH WERE COMMITTED BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE TO CORRUPT THEIR ACTIVITIES ON SUNDAY AND ENFORCE RELIGIOUS WORKERS TO WORK ON THE SABBATH. IN THE YEAR OF THE R.J. (1923), RABBI DAVID ZVI ZILBERSTEIN TOOK PART IN THE PATRIARCHS AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE ISRAEL ASSOCIATION IN THE FIRST MAJOR CHURCH. DURING THE HEARINGS, HE REPORTED THE ACTIVITIES OF THE WORKERS’ MOVEMENT OF THE ISRAEL SOCIETY AND RAISED A DEMAND FROM THE OWNERS OF THE ULTRA-ORTHODOX FACTORIES TO EMPLOY SABBATH GUARDS.
IN 1925, IMMIGRANTS FROM POLAND FOUNDED THE FIRST BRANCH OF THE MOVEMENT IN ISRAEL, BUT AT THE END OF A SHORT PERIOD, THE ACTIVITY WAS HALTED DUE TO ECONOMIC DIFFICULTIES. IN 1933, THE MOVEMENT WAS RE-CREATED IN THE LAND OF ISRAEL UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF JACOB LANDI AND BENJAMIN MINTZ, UNDER THE NAME OF THE WORKERS OF THE ISRAEL SOCIETY, AND IN ITS FRAMEWORK, MAINLY JOINED IMMIGRANTS FROM GERMANY. THE MOVEMENT WAS MERGED WITH THE “ORTHODOX WORKERS’ DIVISIONS”, WHICH WAS FORMED SHORTLY BEFORE.
IN 1935, THE MOVEMENT SIGNED A LIMITED COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH THE GENERAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE SAKE OF OBTAINING WORK AND A PANEL THAT OPPOSED INDEPENDENT WORKERS’ ORGANIZATIONS, EXCEPT FOR IT, IN ORDER TO ENABLE THE WORKERS OF A LIFE-TAKER GROUP TO WORK. THIS COOPERATION WAS ALSO LIMITED DUE TO THE OPPOSITION OF THE ISRAEL SOCIETY. IN 1937, A REPRESENTATIVE SENT A LIVING OBJECT TO THE GREAT CHURCH OF THE ISRAEL ASSOCIATION TO OBTAIN LAND FROM THE ISRAEL FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE GROUP, DESPITE THE OPPOSITION OF THE KKK MOVEMENT, BUT FAILED ITS MISSION. DESPITE THE RESISTANCE, THE GROUP’S MEMBERS HAVE LED TO THE DISTRESS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE ISRAELI ASSOCIATION TO DECIDE AT THEIR CONFERENCE IN 1941 ON CONTACT WITH THE ZIONIST INSTITUTIONS. THIS DECISION CONTRIBUTED TO THE SIGNIFICANT WEAKENING OF THE ISRAELI SOCIETY IN EUROPE, WHOSE MEMBERS WERE MURDERED IN THE HOLOCAUST. IN 1943, AN AGREEMENT WAS SIGNED BETWEEN THE JEWISH AGENCY AND A GROUP OF LIVING OBJECTS ON LAND ALLOCATIONS NEAR THE FENCE, WITH THE CONSENT OF THE LEADERSHIP OF THE ISRAEL ASSOCIATION IN ISRAEL. THE VISION OF A MAN WAS ASKED ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND PRESENTED A NEUTRAL APPROACH.
IN 1941, THE THIRD CONFERENCE IN 1944 HELD A FOURTH NATIONAL CONFERENCE IN THE OPENING OF HOPE.
AFTER THE HOLOCAUST, MEMBERS OF THE FA-J IN EUROPE WORKED TO HELP HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS AND ESTABLISHED TRAINING GROUPS FOR THE LAND OF ISRAEL. BENJAMIN MINTZ WAS THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE RESCUE. “MIZ’S ACTIVITY FOCUSED ON THE OPERATION OF THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE MOVEMENT IN THE TWO RESCUE MISSIONS OF THE SETTLEMENT, GENEVA AND ISTANBUL. . . . . TOWARDS THE END OF THE WAR, MINZ’S EFFORTS HAVE MOVED TO A NEW FOCUS. SPIRITUAL SALVATION, THAT IS TO SAY, THE RESCUE OF JEWS WHO WERE CAPTURED IN THE WAR TO PLACES THAT DIVIDED THEIR JEWISH IDENTITY, INCLUDING THE SOVIET UNION, ON THE PART OF A BROTHER
