The 2015 Sub- 20 Women's Volleyball World Championship will be the 18th edition of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB)'s sub- 20 national selection tournament, held from September 11 to 20, 2015 in Puerto Rico. The designation of Puerto Rico as host country came after the withdrawal from Cyprus that had been first chosen by the FIVB to host the event.

The tournament is organized by the Puerto Rican Volleyball Federation under the supervision of the FIVB.

Classification process
For this edition of the world championship there will be 16 classified teams. The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) grants two quotas to each of the five continental confederations with the exception of the South American Volleyball Confederation (CSV) which lost one square for having fought its continental tournament with only 5 teams, which goes against the FIVB bases that stipulate that at least 50% of the countries of the region or 8 countries must participate in each continental tournament to maintain their two seats, because of this the South American quota goes into the world classification stock market of the category. Finally, the FIVB awarded Peru the second South American quota for the second place it won in the South American sub- 20 of 2014. The African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) lost one of its quotas for having played its continental tournament with only 3 teams, on the other hand, the United States decided to withdraw from the competition because the change of date of the world affected the academic studies of its players, these two squares passed to the classification bag via the FIVB ranking category.

So there were 8 selections classified via continental tournaments, one being the host country and seven selections classified by the world ranking of the youth category that have not achieved their classification to the world through the above-mentioned tracks. To award the last 7 quotas FIVB took into account the world youth classification of December 2014.
